Haha thanks! You know what they say, go green.
It is kind of a red flag to the cops tho lol. “I swear officer I just like the aesthetic!”
Update, stripped the original paint and sprayed a 2 component truck bed liner instead for more durability.
Check out the durability test on this spray.
I love the wire sleeve
Really nice build Linny…looks beautiful…so much work.
That Samurai 2K07 looks like it will keep things looking new… I’m going to get some of that…thanks for the post
Super nice build man. I actually love the bed liner properties and texture. Where do you buy it? Directly from the US company? Once activated do you have to use it all or you can use it multiple times?
Focbox Unity came last year in December but forgot to update the thread.
Some braided sleeving to protect the wires.
So much space! Should’ve gone for a smaller BMS and more cells…
Unity settings are at 80,-80,80,-20, using the Avio Mini remote mod.
New receiver for the Photon remote came recently, so i swapped to that. Accel and brake was a bit jumpy so i bumped down settings to 60,-50,80,-12. Perhaps its due to it being a thumbstick remote that i’m not used to yet. But i like it so far!
what type of bms are you using?
Got it from a different site but its the same BMS.
12s BMS with 120A output https://www.dhgate.com/product/12s-120a-150a-200a-36v-pcm-pcb-bms-common/435834938.html
Reallyyyyy? Haha!
Carpark ride was ok, but i think i’ve gotten so used to trigger remotes that the thumbstick remote felt funny, take awhile to get used to i guess
Really Nice build! How do the Torqueboards motors feel? Are they Waterproof?
Bldc motors are inherently waterproof. Water won’t cause them to short, unless the enamel layer of the wires has been damaged.
The bearings in them aren’t waterproof though, they’ll corrode, like most bearings, when exposed to the elements.
And sensors are not waterproof either if i understand it correctly
Ah yeap, some are not. Some companies (maytech) conformal coat them though.
So far all my builds use torqueboards motors. Good stuff, i like the design as well as the power the 6380s give. I also have a dual 6355 and a single 6374.
