Plugging in battery gives a big spark

Hey Guys!

It’s been awhile but I’m back and wanted to get my board back at it again. But when I plug my 6s lipo on my focbox en plug te xt90 key I get a huge spark and it melts my xt90 plug. First I thought it was the battery because it was old or something. So I just received my new 6s lipo and got my wires re soldered. First I tried a 3s and everything was fine but than I plugged in my new 6s and it happend again. Do you guys know what is going on? Hope you can help me.

Greets, Kris

its fairly normal actually, when you connect battery a big arc/spark can happen.

Yeah I used to get sparks when plugging the key in but never like this. It looks like the xt90s are melted and I can’t plug em in anymore. Think I’ll just buy a anti spark switch.

Or use xt90 loopkey.
