Hi,
Could someone explain the purpose of the power switch that lies between a vesc and battery pack. If your not using the electric board won’t the battery still remain the same? If so, what would be the purpose of the switch?

Welcome to the ESK8 forum, Johnny.
Without a power switch the esc would be consuming idle current from the battery. Its not much but there are electronics running even at zero throttle. It would take a few to several days but would completely discharge the battery.

Lol one little led drain your battery. Then if your like me you never have some things set properly with the remote you walk away, and whammy your shit is now 4 miles away.
