Is it possible to charge and monitor batt at the same time? Im using it to only monitor batt lvl, didnt think I could add socket to plug charger. Could you post pictures how you put it together?

Yes you can charge and monitor voltage at the same time, that’s why there is a charge port on the pocket voltmeter. Here’s the model and build instructions, you just solder the volt meter leads in the middle of the charge port and pigtail.

Thanks a bunch! Now I have to figure how to get rid of the hot glue of the pcb from my meter xD

Where did you get that voltmeter?

The whole setup or just the digital readout panel?

I read up on it. Found the thread on how to set that up. I initially thought that these were commercially available to purchase. I didn’t realize you have to make them.

I just placed an order to make it. This should help me see the volts and amps while I charge. Pretty sweet setup. I’m a minimalist. I only have the charge port and loopkey installed on my enclosure.

My enclosure is the same. Charge port and loop key :ok_hand:

It didn’t even occur to me that the thickness of the Hummie deck had such an upside! You might have just convinced me to use my Hummie deck for my AT build after all; I can imagine using RGB strips and an Arduino to have 1 side flash orange when making a turn

Yeah love this board for AT ! My led strips are controlled by my remote. Push a button and I got headlights and brake lights.

Thanks for that, I was having a hard time imagining how a strip would look

It looks amazing, just need to buy some of the waterproof ones

Do you plan to do the same at the front? Don’t know if it would light the road enough

Yes , I’ve got white for the headlights just haven’t put them on yet. They’re pretty bright at 12v , for me I just wanted to be more visible to others.
