I did but after this pic was taken. Ill very alert pic soon. I just got the $3 enamel model paint
@brenternet You won’t be disappointed. I’m glad I took the advice of others here, those hex tools are so much better, especially for stuck 2mm grub screws which just strip-out at the slightest provocation
My new Wera’s rescued my build this very afternoon…
Yeah, some of those are huge though. I almost never need anything over 4mm and if I do, stripping is never an issue. Just on those little ones…
The 10mm one feels more akin to a crowbar than a hex wrench
I love them. Only hex wrenches ill use now.
I’ve got a couple of well rounded hex on my back truck, scared to touch them haha. Hopefully this cures that and I can swap them out.
@brenternet If it doesn’t, (but i think they will) you can try taking one of your older hex keys and hammering in the next size up. Honestly these are tough enough to handle the abuse probably
I had to take a dremel and cut an x into a bolt and uae the Phillips head to get a hex head i rounded out with crap keys.
I have the Wera hex tools and there is one bolt holding my motor that won’t come loose, even with the Wera’s. I think I’ll take your tip and use the Dremel next time I have to remove it.
Superglue a cheap allen key to the bolt and have at it.
It’s all good for now as the motor doesn’t need to be removed, but when it comes to removing it, I’ll try anything I can.
have u tried heating it up?
Sometimes when a bolt is stuck. Trying to tighten it first will help it break free too.(just a bit) Anything to get it moving.
I’m stealing this for work
I wished they sold a half set, I’m never gonna use half of mine - seem pretty indestructible so happy I got them , not so happy they were like my 3rd or 4th set lol
Nice desktop pc.
Anyone else thought that?
on the second look, yes…
It’s 170x120x56 Its a whole lid for ESC enclosure
