Where did you get that thing in the front?
Looks like the bull bar is from trampa. You could make one line this
Me likey. I think some gbomb drop brackets would look cool, well if they weren’t $150
Trampa bullbar http://www.trampaboards.com/t6-heat-treated-aluminum-bull-bars-with-rubber-end-bungs-p-25543.html… although @pat.speed’s link looks pretty cool too… i wonder if it rattles at all
Thank you, Etoxx also has a nice one but 99 euro is a bit to much for me haha.
The handle bar extensions I use are super cheap, £7 a pop. Only issue is they need 3D printed collars to attach to the trucks. They’re really strong, but I’ve yet to ride with them.
I have a similar shaped deck, Loaded Dervish that nobody is buying. So I might cut it for science also @nuttyjeff, yours looks like it’s bamboo and is flexible. Does is still have flex?
I would agree to not name the switch vendor as almost every brand of e-switch has blown up so no point singling out. Also could be random failure or something weird with the installation / usage.
Im sure there are guys on this forum that have killed like 20 e-switches of all types.
Nah it’s not defective, all of the antispark on the market have a design flaw where each on/off cycle slightly damages their FETs
Waiting for one with a precharge circuit. Basically one FET that turns on first with a 5.6 ohm resister in series – then a bank of 1 to 5 FETs that open up for the main power to flow through. Sounds basically exactly like a loopkey being plugged-in, eh? LoLz
Essentially, you shouldn’t be operating any of them in linear mode because the inrush current WILL damage them slightly each time
Yeah it’s bamboo and has quite abit of flex. Had nothing to do on a sunday morning so decided to cut and spray it for fun. Haha.

Maybe he wants the same as Tumbler front drive
Hes building a raptor 3
Screw antispark switches then
Doesn’t the Fatboy implement this? I wonder if the unity with its upcoming built in eswitch will compensate for such
Oh yeah, it does look like the newest 3D Servisas one has the precharge circuit. (but not the older one) So, that’s the only one I know of on the market that isn’t taking at least a tiny bit of damage on each poweron cycle
These are the handiest things I ever made. You can completely eliminate bluetooth and a battery gauge and everything, and just check the battery level (if you need to) using the charge port. Less holes in the enclosure, less things to break, MOAR RELIABLE
I highly recommend making one. They’re cheap as dirt too. Battery gauge + JB Weld + 5.5x2.1 Barrel plug
