Is it possible to put some type of cushion underneath my grip tape to make it super soft and vibration absorbable?

Anythings possible. 2 things I would be concerned with right off the bat. How to make both sides of this foam material adhesive. And how to keep it from ripping thru the center of the foam.
Ok 3 things. How to keep the grip tape from developing holes. Its supposed to be rigidly mounted to a hard surface that only flexes. Instead its going on top of foam. How will you stop it from developing holes?
I’ve used this, pretty happy with it cushion wise, still need to see the lifetime. But it grips and cleans well so far. If you would be in the US, shredlights stocks this too

Use hydroturf. Like for jetskis. Works great
