Hi guys, long time without posting. Was preparing my board for the spring and I run an OTA firmware update. Unfortunatly my ESCape seems to be bricked. Is there any way to solder an UART debugger to flash the core firmware ? I am running out of other options.
Never update firmware unless you have a reason to. VESC Tool suggesting it is not a reason.
What are the symptoms that makes you think it’s bricked?
My reason to think they’re bricked is that FW LED remain light up all the time and the Vesc are not any longer recognised when plugged to a computer, you don’t even have the COM port displayed in computer peripherals.
You can probably use the SWD port and an ST-Link to recover it
