The more I think about it the more it seems like a breach of privacy…

Yeah it’s a breach of customer confidentiality. Unless the customer expressly gives permission.

I don’t remember giving permission either.

Exactly my though!!! Lets get @onloop over here.

I remember seeing this on @torqueboards site saying “Ernesto from the Bronx purchased xxxx”. Thought it might’ve been @kaly :stuck_out_tongue:

I thought that was a gimmick pop up thing on @torqueboards site.

That is not nice :rage: I have not endorse any product or vendor. ( not that I have anything against any vendor ), I think that the vendors should have a review feature so the customer can put their opinion on the products and services on their site and not do it unilaterally.

@torqueboards @carl.1 @onloop can we get some feedback on this?

The actual customer first name has been removed and won’t be displayed in the future.

I didn’t think this actually bothered anyone but I understand.

looks clean  what switch \ circuit are you using, and why is the battery charges so quickly? Thanks

I’m just using an on/off switch I found at a hardware store nearby.

It’s not actually charging quick, I plugged in the charger and the percentage indicator didn’t know how to handle it lol

Thanks. Can the switch handle high amps, or it’s connected to soft switch circuit?

I didn’t check. It’s just bridging the positive side of the parallel connection to the battery. So far so good.

My VESC shows as delivered but I won’t be home until tomorrow to use it :frowning:

Assuming all goes well, the vesc will mark the builds completion.

So excited. Hope my LiPos don’t screw me over.

I’m having an odd phenomenon with my BMS/LiPos, if anyone could help that would be great.

6 of the 12 cells are stuck at 3.8v, while the rest charged to 4.2v just fine. What could be the cause of this?

I will probably just open up the pack and desolder and balance them individually, but it would be nice to know why the BMS isn’t balancing them.

Is this 2x 6s packs in series? Could you check if an entire pack isn’t balancing? Or is a mixture of cells from both packs that aren’t balancing. Sounds like 1 pack isn’t even charging.

4x3s 5000mAh Zippy LiPos soldered to be one 12s pack. I’m not sure if it is spread between the two yet, I’ll be checking later with a multimeter.
