They don’t handle complicated orders well. Language barrier. I always kept my orders simple. Meaning only one type of bms in the order. And I never mentioned Li-ion or Lipo Just here are the specs and this is how many I need
How did you specify that you want them to be configured for that battery chemistry without mentioning Lipo or Liion? 
I would recommend that you just use the same specs for both. Don’t mention chemistry and don’t involve them in the thought process. Just tell them the specs you want and how many.

Thanks @Namasaki! OK so based on this I just wanna ask one more time before burning down my brothers house with his new present: I can use the exact same BMS for both Lipos and Liions without any issues?
