I like @dareno 's sentiment and I also think there are no bottlenecks in electric skateboarding today. The feeling of riding on a urethane wheel is the only reason I ride, anything else just feels dead and boring. Weight… I have found a heavy board to be quite nice, I have a little death whip that weighs 35lbs and it feels amazing in a hard turn.
Try not to forget why a quality skate wheel is made the way it is today. The freewheeling they give from just a few kicks is and always will be exhilarating.
